ThSo how many of you would like to partake in watching a movie in a cemetery? Well, I was lucky enough to be able to do just that! Pinelawn Cemetery in Milwaukee offered a movie night in August where they showed not one but two awesome movies on the cemetery grounds. We were able to watch Hocus Pocus and the Goonies.
Im just going to let that epicness sink in for a minute.
So on a beautiful Friday night in August, my BFF Spike and I brought our lawn chairs, some snacks and wine in a box (oh yea, we are so classy) and settled in on the lawn behind the main office to watch Hocus Pocus on a big blow up screen. The place was packed! There were a ton of people, and they had this awesome food truck where you could get hot dogs and sweet corn-on-the-cob. The movie it self is awesome, so no shocker there. There are no lights in the cemetery so it got super dark, and the weather was perfect! We had an amazing time!
While I was there, I was also able to visit my childhood friend that is buried at this beautiful cemetery. She passed away in ’99 at the age of 14. Gone but not forgotten.
Thank you for reading!
